What is Blog Riffing and Why the Heck Should I Do It?
Blog Riffing is a terrific idea from one of my favourite blogs at http://blogsuccess.com/ and is so simple that many of us will wonder why we did not think of Blog Riffing before.
Indeed many of us were probably already doing it without giving it a name.
Blog Riffing is the ultimate online "pay it forward" gesture.
You simple find high quality blogs in your niche and make a post on your own blog using an excerpt or quote from that blogger's content and include their links a time or two.
Of course this is not the same as Blog Ripping or in anyway ripping off others content, because you will be giving full attribution to the original source.
Of course you can also make comments on that person's blog and in that way give twice them the appreciation.
However, what the first scenario does is to build links to high ranking and great content site and you don't have to go chasing down links all over the Internet.
So, you can see that the second part of the question in my title "What is Blog Riffing and Why the Heck Should I Do It"? is pretty obvious to anyone who wants to create unlimited exposure to their own blogs.
You can just keep repeating Blog Riffing for all your blogs as often as you can.
